Our Little Geologist! Nuestra pequena Geologa!

Here I am at 10,000 ft in Mammoth Lakes, and the only thing I wanted my parents to do was to take my gloves off, so I could grab 2 handfuls of rocks to play with!! Can't leave a rock behind! Anywhere!!


Even at the Wild Animal Park at the petting corral, I just couldn't hold myself and instead of checking out the cool deer from Africa, I just had to look and pick up the little rocks!! Can you see the rocks in my hands? I could fall and get just a little hurt, but my little rocks will never fall!! You may ask my parents on this one!


Aquí estoy a 10,000 pies de altura en Mammoth Lakes y lo único que queria es que mis padres me quitaran mis guantecitos, y así poder agarrar dos manitas llenas de piedritas para jugar con ellas!! No puedo dejar una piedrita atrás!! En ningún lado!!


Aún en el Wild Animal Park en el corralito de animales, no me pude contener. En lugar de ver y tocar a los maravillosos venaditos de Africa, tuve que ver y recoger las pequeñas piedritas!! Ven las piedritas en mis manitas? Me podré caer y lastimar un poquito pero mis piedritas nunca caerán! Pueden preguntarle a mis padres sobre esto!

Mammoth Lakes Vacation! Vacaciones!

These were the only bears we got to see! Wanted to see real ones, but they where all sleeping away the early winter! Estos son los unicos osos que vimos! Los reales ya estaban invernando su temprano invierno!


Here we are with THE Mammoth. The famous Mammoth at the bottom of the mountain. Today was the only day we got to see fresh snow!! It was about 9*C, and we were poorly prepared, but we thank the Lord for our friends who gladly helped us out with the jackets!! Aqui estamos con EL Mammoth en las faldas de la montana. Hoy fue el unico dia que vimos nieve fresca!! Estuvo como a 9*C, no estamos preparados, pero gracias a Dios por nuestros amigos que felizmente nos ayudaron con las jackets!!

Here we are at the famous Schat's Bakkery where we got an amazing pull-apart bread with walnuts. Aqui estamos en la famosa panaderia Schat's, donde compramos un maraviloso pan con nueces.

This is an Eathquake fault located close to the Mammoth resort. Esta es una falta de un terremoto, queda cerca al resort de Mammoth.

This is the wonderful RV that our kind friends let us stay in. This was Marcela's dream come true. Thank you so much friends!! Este es el carro casa en que nuestros amables amigos nos dejaron quedarnos. El sueno de Marcela hecho realidad. Muchisimas gracias amigos!!

My 1st Snow! Mi 1era Nieve!

Aqui estoy por primera vez figurandome que es esta cosa blanca, fria y mojada en mis manos y la razon por la cual debo vestirme asi! Con costos podia caminar y si me caia no me podia poner de pie!
